The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) announced the allocation at its October meeting, chaired by the Accountant-General of the Federation, Shamsudeen B. The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), has informed the public that power supply has been restored through Kukwaba 132kV Transmission Substation at 4:16pm of Thursday, October 15, 2026. The outage had occurred at 12:24am on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, following the tripping of 33kV feeder L36. However, restoration was delayed due to a faulty line circuit breaker.
