The Transmission Company of Nigeria, has disclosed that the 100MVA power transformer at the 132/33kV Apo Transmission Substation which tripped this morning has been restored.
This was after comprehensive tests and maintenance were carried out on the transformer. Restoration was at about 7:33pm today, a statement by the TCN management said.
Consequently, the affected 33kV feeders H31, H33, H35, and H37 are now back in service and bulk power supply to AEDC customers on the affected feeders have been fully restored.
TCN appreciated the patience of customers during the outage and remains committed to stable power transmission.
