The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘C’ Stream One Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, and end on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.
The NYSC, in a statement signed by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, said registration of all prospective corps members would begin on September 30 and close on Friday, October 2, 2026.
According to the statement, the swearing-in ceremony for the prospective corps members will also take place on Friday, October 2.
It added that the three-week orientation exercise would be conducted in all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier Olakunle Nafiu, wished prospective corps members and course officials safe journeys to their respective orientation camps.
Nafiu also advised the prospective corps members to avoid night travel and ensure they board vehicles at designated motor parks.
The NYSC urged all prospective corps members to adhere to the orientation course schedule and safety guidelines.
