The Nigeria National League (NNL) has confirmed a revised kickoff time of 4pm for the final round of the 2026 NNL Super Four on Friday, moving from the earlier scheduled 3pm start.
In line with global best practices, both decisive fixtures will hold simultaneously across two venues, a move aimed at ensuring fairness and preventing any form of competitive advantage or match manipulation.
A league official emphasized the importance of the arrangement, noting that it reflects the NNL’s commitment to professionalism and integrity.
“I crave the indulgence of fans to come out in their numbers and enjoy top-class football artistry,” the official said. “This is what an ideal league looks like, aligned with international standards.”
All eyes are now on the tightly contested race for the ₦10 million prize money and the Super Four trophy, with Sporting Lagos, Doma United, and Inter Lagos still in contention. Ranchers Bees have been eliminated following back-to-back defeats.
Adding colour to the grand finale, Afrobeats sensation Portable is set to deliver a live performance at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne. He will also headline a raffle draw, where two fans will win ₦500,000 each, while the first 200 supporters through the gates will receive ₦5,000 as part of the matchday excitement.
