The Director-General, National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu has said that Easter offers a profound reminder of sacrifice, renewal, hope, and love – virtues that lie at the heart of the National Youth Service Corps.
The DG, who made this known in an Easter message to Corps Members and staff, urged them to reflect on enduring values and stand firm in their commitment to national unity, a statement by the NYSC Spokesperson, Caroline Embu noted.
“As we celebrate this sacred season, I encourage you to reflect these enduring values in your daily conduct and interactions as proud members of the NYSC family.
“Let us continue to stand firm in our commitment to national unity, selfless service, and mutual respect, drawing strength from our diversity. Through our collective resolve and shared sense of purpose, we can further advance the cause of a more peaceful, united, and prosperous Nigeria.
“May the spirit of Easter renew our strength, deepen our sense of service, and fill our hearts with hope and fulfillment. Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve. Happy Easter!”
