The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has disclosed that power supply was successfully restored at 4:08 p.m. today, Sunday, 6th September 2026, following a planned outage at the 132/33kV Apo Transmission Substation.

The Company in an announcement to the public, said the outage was necessitated by the need to address a fault on Apo Lines 1 and 2 between Towers T130 and T132.

“Following the successful completion of OPGW latching on the 2x132kV Apo Transmission lines, power supply has now been fully restored.

“TCN appreciates the patience and understanding of electricity customers affected during the outage and remains committed to maintaining a reliable and efficient transmission network for improved electricity supply”, the statement noted.
