ABUJA—In a bid to find lasting solutions to the numerous challenges facing Nigeria, Mama Helen Oritsejafor has said that the country requires dialogue to solve the problems it faces as a nation.
This is just as she noted that dialogue, still remains the most important thing necessary to bring peace to Nigeria.
Mama Oritsejafor made these known on Thursday in Abuja at a Press Conference ahead of the signing tour of her book titled “Joyfully Together”.
According to her, “Dialogue still remains the most important thing. We need to sit and talk as a people and to find a way to bring peace to this country.
“We need to ensure that relationships are right at home, not seeing what divides us as a family but what brings us together, because a nation is family”, she stated.
Shedding more light on the Book “Joyfully Together–Key to Enjoying Your Relationship”, Mama Helen stated that she decided to write the book having seen what relationships have become around the world.
She noted that people spend more time investing in their businesses and little on their relationships and this tends to negatively affect other aspects of their lives.
She remarked that the book aims to be an antidote to relationship issues and also resolving conflicts, adding that relationship should not to be endured but enjoyed, as a good relationship reflects on people’s daily life.
In her words, “The book stems from my accumulated years of experience being married and other aspects of life.
“I won’t say I have seen it all, but I have had a bit of it in life and I just want to make sure that the new generation, even older ones can make it right and the new generation will pick up from what you [older ones] have already established, having a lasting relationship to the glory of God”.
She advised married couples to ensure that they maintain and never compromise on communication, adding that lack of communication is the greatest challenge that marriages face today.
For his part, the Senior Pastor, Shepherd House Assembly, Rev. Dr. Joshua Talena, while describing mama Oritsejafor as a brutal preacher, said the book is apt, as a lot of people are not knowledgeable in the issues of marriage and this makes them fail.
The Book, “Joyfully Together–Key to Enjoying Your Relationship”, provides insights on how singles and married can deal with basic relationship issues that arises and therefore have a more delightful, stable and long-lasting relationship.
Also, the book offers illumination into how to develop and inculcate a fulfilling and peaceful relationship for couples and singles.
Mama Helen Oritsejafor is married to Papa Ayo Oritsejafor, the immediate past president of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN).
