The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced that applicants undergoing recruitment into four agencies under the Ministry of Interior will not be required to pay for the mandatory Drug Integrity Test (DIT), warning candidates against making payments to officials or testing centres.
The agency disclosed that the Ministry of Interior had made bulk payment to cover the testing of new intakes into the Nigerian Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
A statement issued by NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, on Friday, said all candidates and personnel participating in the exercise should refrain from making payments to NDLEA officials, testing centres or through any other payment channel.
Babafemi explained that candidates would be required to access the NDLEA Drug Integrity Test platform through a designated link or access point to be provided on their respective institutional portals.
He said the arrangement would enable applicants to complete the necessary registration and documentation and proceed with the testing process without incurring additional costs.
The agency reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth, transparent and efficient testing exercise, while appreciating the Ministry of Interior for its cooperation in facilitating the process.
The NDLEA urged all participating candidates to comply with the established procedure and take note that no payment is required for the Drug Integrity Test.
