The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has disclosed that it will be undertaking an urgent maintenance, Saturday, 5th September 2026, to enable TCN maintenance crew seal oil leakage from the one transformer at the 330/132/33kV Katampe Transmission Substation.

Making this known in a statement, the TCN management said the maintenance work is scheduled to commence at 10a.m. and end at 7pm today, adding that during the maintenance some circuits will be impacted.

“Consequently, AEDC will be unable to offload electricity from some feeders to its electricity customers fed from the transformer.

“TCN apologises for any inconvenience this temporary interruption may cause to electricity consumers in the affected areas”, it said.
