The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has informed the public that annual preventive maintenance exercise has been scheduled at its Ajaokuta 330/132kV Transmission Substation on Tuesday, 1st September, 2026 from 10 am to 3 pm.
This exercise, the TCN Management said, is necessary to enable maintenance crew work on the bay switchgear and associated equipment on 132kV Ajaokuta Transmission Line 1.
Consequently, Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) will be unable to off-take electricity to its customers at Adogo, Anyimgba, Ganaja and adjoining areas.
It added that power supply will be restored immediately after the maintenance exercise is completed.
TCN apologised for the inconvenience this exercise will cause electricity consumers in the affected areas.
