Nigeria’s Ambassador to Côte d’Ivoire, Ambassador Ezenwa Nwaobiala, has met with the President of the National Assembly of Côte d’Ivoire, Patrick Achi, as part of efforts to strengthen diplomatic ties between both countries.
The meeting, held on August 3, 2026, was part of Ambassador Nwaobiala’s familiarization visits to key institutions and senior officials of the Ivorian government following his assumption of office.
During the engagement, the ambassador reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to fostering stronger cooperation with Côte d’Ivoire and explored opportunities to deepen collaboration with strategic institutions in the host country.
The visit underscores the two countries’ shared commitment to enhancing their longstanding cordial relations through sustained diplomatic engagement and closer institutional cooperation.
