The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), has invited all stakeholders to a Public Inquiry on the Spectrum Roadmap 2025 – 2030; Guidelines on the use of the 60 GHz band for Multi Gigabit Wireless Systems; and the Guidelines on the use of the lower part of the 6GHz band for Wifi-6 in Nigeria
The Commission which made this known on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 in an announcement signed by its Spokesperson, Nnenna Ukoha, noted that the NCC in exercise of its functions under the Nigerian Communications Act 2003 (NCA 2003) published the Draft Regulatory frameworks and is seeking comments from Stakeholders.
She added that the Public Inquiry, which is in accordance with Section 58 of the NCA 2003 is scheduled to take place virtually from 19 – 20, January 2026,
