Dr Aminu Maida, the Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Communications Commission and Board Director, International Institute of Communications is billed to speak at the International Institute of Communications (IIC) Africa Chapter inaugural meeting.
The meeting scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026, has the theme; “Cybersecurity and Africa, Building Systems and Frameworks for Cyber Resilience”.
The IIC, which made this known on its LinkedIn page, said “We’ll be exploring Africa’s evolving cybersecurity landscape. Through high-level discussions and knowledge-sharing, the virtual meeting will examine the opportunities and challenges in building effective cybersecurity systems, developing coherent frameworks, and fostering collaboration across sectors and borders.
“We look forward to hearing from Abdul-Hakeem Ajijola (AhA), Aminu Maida, Bill Woodcock, Lynn Robinson, Rita Maduo Badumeleng, and Tebogo Mmoshe”, the Institute noted.
