President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, February 24, 2022 inaugurated the newly completed branch of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Lafia, Nasarawa state.
This is just as he commended the CBN Governor, Mr. Godwin Emefiele and Management for their contribution to the development of the economy.
Speaking on the significance of the new branch, Emefiele noted that the new Lafia branch is in line with the apex bank’s desire to bring financial services closer to the grassroots, and to deliver on this administration’s vision of transformational agriculture.
He further added that the Lafia office will work on delivering the dividends of the Anchor Borrowers Programme and other initiatives of the CBN to the people of Nasarawa State.
