The Chairman, South East Governors Forum and Governor of Ebonyi state, Engr. David Umahi, has endorsed Dr. George Moghalu, for the Governorship of Anambra state.
The Anambra State general elections have been slated for November, 26, 2021.
Umahi made the endorsement during a consultative visit of the APC governorship aspirant, who paid him a visit at his country home in Uburu, Ohaozara Local Government Area.
Governor Umahi who described Dr. Moghalu as the man of the people with sterling leadership qualities, expressed deep hope that the All progressive Congress(APC), will clinch the governorship position in Anambra state in the November general elections, and urged the people of Anambra state to vote en masse for Moghalu, whom he said, would provide quality leadership to the people.
According to him, “I commend him so much for the great work he is doing for Nigeria and our people and he is a very good material that will give other parties a run for their money, I am very hopeful that with people like this we (APC) will take over Anambra State”.

In his remarks, Dr. Moghalu commended Governor David Umahi for the monumental infrastructural development recorded in the State, stressing that Governor Umahi clearly signifies ‘performance’ in all aspects of good governance.
“I am very proud of Dave Umahi and what he has done for Ebonyi State, South East and the Nation, the only way for you to describe Umahi’s performance is for you to go and see the achievement recorded,and that is what leadership is all about, so I am very proud of him.
“We are confident that the Anambra State people will trust the APC and give us the opportunity to serve. It is the people first, how to impact on the lives of people of Anambra and Igbo nation is my priority”, he said.
Dr. Moghalu who expressed hope that the good works of the APC-led Government at the center, would give him and the party victory in the Gubernatorial election, assured a purposeful and people oriented government if elected as governor.
Dr. Moghalu later inspected Ebonyi College of Medicine, Uburu, alongside the governor, Engr.David Umahi who conducted him round.
