The Minister of Transportation, Hon. Chibuike Amaechi, accompanied by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed on Saturday went on an inspection tour of the Lagos-Ibadan Standard Gauge Rail line.
The tour was to inspect the level of work accomplished on the corridor, as the Coronavirus pandemic had stalled the pace of work.
With this assessment visit, a new completion date is expected to be arrived at, as work slowly picks up.
The Ministers are inspecting the Ebute Metta Junction (EBJ) Railway Station Building and Station Yard construction work, among other places.
