The Vice Chancellor, University of Maiduguri, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, has hailed the unprecedented recall of the Executive Secretary, Tertiary Education Fund(TETFund), Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro by President Muhammadu Buhari

This is just as he noted, that the reinstatement is a confirmation of the confidence Nigerians have in Bogoro’s administrative and managerial acumen.

Njodi, who said these over the weekend when he led a delegation from the University of Maiduguri on a courtesy visit to the TETFund Executive Secretary, added that UniMaid recognizes Professor Bogoro’s leadership qualities.

The Vice Chancellor, noted that the purpose of the courtesy call was to congratulate Professor Bogoro on his recent reinstatement as the Executive Secretary of TETFund.

He remarked that the University is proud of the Executive Secretary’s re-instatement being an Alumnus of UniMaid, adding that it will continue to support him in anyway possible.

Responding, the Executive Secretary thanked the Vice Chancellor, saying that the size of the delegation not only made him emotional but also evoked a feeling of nostalgia remembering his days as a student at the University.

The highly elated Executive Secretary stated that he has come back with a renewed vigour to relentlessly serve the Fund and the Country at large.

He assured the Vice Chancellor of his continued support to the University within the ambit of the law in order to ensure that the institution continues with its excellent performance in the utilization of Intervention funds.

Finally, he commended the Vice Chancellor of the University and his Management team for their promptness in accessing their yearly allocations, a feat which he noted many of the beneficiary institutions are still struggling with.
