NIPOST Gets Special Marshal Unit as  Post Master General Bags Honorary Membership.

ABUJA-The Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) has joined the network of Road Safety advocates as it gets Special Marshal unit.
In line with this,the Post Master General NIPOST, Barrister Adebisi Adegbuyi was decorated by the Federal Road Safety  Corp (FRSC),Corps Marshal as an Honorary Special Marshal.
Speaking at the event in Abuja, the FRSC Corps Marshal, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi noted that the award given to Barrister  Adegbuyi is as a result of his contributions to road safety ideals even before he was appointed the Post Master General of NIPOST.

Oyeyemi who was represented by Mr. Victor Nwokolo, an Assistant Corps Marshal, expressed delight that NIPOST has joined the network of Road Safety advocates.
He noted that the Special Marshal Unit is a voluntary call to national duty and should be taken seriously as they might be saving their families and friends while carrying out their voluntary assignments.
He highlighted that Special Marshals are officers, though they have different uniforms and are not paid salaries for doing road safety job.
He also noted that God will reward and bless them abundantly if they help to safe lives as Road Safety Special Marshals.
Speaking with some of the inductees,they showed their readiness to carry out the voluntary road safety services as Special Marshals.
The  Post Master General, Barrister Adegbuyi, since his appointment has brought in new operational structures and innovations to reposition NIPOST.
