NIPOST Set To Launch New Products On World Post Day.

Abuja-Ahead of the World Post Day celebration, the Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST)has said that it is launching new products which include the repackaged and almost extinct postal and money orders online for the use of the public .

Disclosing this in a press statement, the General Manager Corporate Communication, Mr Franklin Alao, said that in it’s renewed efforts at bringing the postal service at par with global practices, NIPOST is taking advantage of ICT era by introducing a number of new and innovative products that will change the face of postal service in the country.

“The products alongside others are slated to be launched on World Post Day in Abuja.This is part of the organisation’s commitment at relaunching itself back into the public consciousness” he noted .

Recall that the World Postal body has set aside every October 9th as the World Post Day,for its members to review postal activities in each country in the last one year ,with a view to celebrate milestones achieved and set new objectives and strategies for enhanced postal service .

The World Post Day celebration is replicated in towns and cities across the country ,and Nigeria being a member of the Universal postal union is set to take part in the event .
