President Muhammadu Buhari is set to return to Nigeria later today, after receiving medical attention in London, says the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
This news is coming just few hours after a #ResumeorResign candle light vigil and protest was held in London by Concerned Nigerians in the United Kingdom, demanding that the President who has spent more than 100 days in London return to his duty post.
The President had left the country on May 7, this year, after handing over power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who has functioned as Acting President since then.
According to Femi Adesina, President Buhari is expected to speak to Nigerians in a broadcast by 7 A.M on Monday, August 21, 2017.
