Analytics For Change: Blacksentry To Hold Data Analytics Workshop In Abuja

Abuja-With a view to drive change in the public sector through the use of data analytics,Blacksentry, a division of Layer3, is set to hold a workshop on Data Analytics in Abuja.

The event which will hold at the Transcorp Hilton on June 7, 2017, is in partnership with SAS, the global leader in Big Data and Analytics, and has over 30 federal government agencies billed to attend.

The workshop aims to help organizations, especially government agencies, strategically position themselves to use data analytics to drive change, deliver value and increase public satisfaction.

Discussions will center on how the public sector, the Armed Forces and security agencies can use high performance analytics to tap into large amounts of historical and present data in a structured, systematic and scientific way, generating valuable insights as a result. It presents a great opportunity in initiating service delivery reforms in Nigeria amidst the current economic indices.

According to Layer3’s Head of Cybersecurity and Data Analytics business,Paul Umoru, “We will be exploring how to use visual and predictive analytics in process efficiency, innovation, fraud prevention and national security so as to better identify trends and patterns buried in government data and identify opportunities to turn information into action.”

BLacksentry is a new division of Layer3,delivering a set of world class data analytics and cybersecurity solutions within the African market.

It is made up of a specialized team of experts with proven industry experience, a world-class 24/7 security operations center and an experienced management team.
