The Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen has expressed shock and dismay at the death of the former Minister of Women Affairs, Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan, popularly known as Mama Taraba, whose sad event took place on Friday, 7th May, 2021 in Egypt, according to reports.

Dame Pauline Tallen described her death as a monumental loss to the Nation and women in particular, a statement obtained by The Sight News disclosed.

Speaking further, the Women Affairs Minister, Dame Pauline said Al-Hassan was an accomplished Civil Servant, an astute Politician and a Patriot who as Minister of Women Affairs, contributed immensely towards social and political emancipation of Women in Nigeria.

She urged her family to take solace in the fact that Aisha Jummai Al-Hassan lived a life of service to humanity and prayed God grants her soul eternal rest.
