The Chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP and others have decamped to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
Speaking on behalf of those who decamped, Comrade Bravo. O. Uba said they were moved by the ideals and good governance framework which ADC embodies.
“We joined ADC because it has focus and fairness and the patriotic spirit and trustworthiness of its leaders” he said.
Meanwhile, the African Democratic Congress, ADC has vowed to win the Bende South Constituency seat at the Abia State House of Assembly.
Speaking at the stakeholders meeting, the Chairman of the party in Bende, Hon Victor Onuobia said ADC will win Bende South because it was on ground.
“ADC is the party to choose. We have presence across all the polling units in the Constituency, and our candidate is the best among those contesting for the seat” he said.
On his part, the ADC candidate for Bende South Constituency, Nkem Ukandu, said that he is running to change the state’s trajectory.
“Let’s rise to the challenge and bring an effective and competent representative that can fight the war against poverty and poor governance”, he said.
