The Ebonyi state Executive Council members (EXCO) have commended governor David Umahi for his giant strides in infrastructural development.
The members made their feelings known after inspecting some ongoing building projects at the new government house, Abakaliki.

“We have moved through Her Excellency’s new office complex to the government house chapel. As you can see, all the housing projects going on in the new government house are quite magnificent with very wonderful designs.
“Like my colleagues were saying, before now this place was a desert, but you can see how it has been transformed into eldorado, to a new city that beats other cities.
“I think that we have to give all the praises, all the commendations to His Excellency, the Governor of Ebonyi state, Chief Engr. David Umahi, for his Engineering designs that have brought all these magnificent buildings into existence, and for his thorough supervision that have made it possible for many projects to be completed on time, and for all those ongoing to be going on, in a very good quality”.

Uchenna Orji, said after the Executive Council meeting of 23rd September, 2021, members of the Council had a cause to accompany the Commissioner for Housing to inspect the ongoing building complex of the First Lady, Chief Mrs Rachel Umahi and the new Government House Chapel.

“We are pretty sure that all of these complexes are part of the projects that will be shown to the President for commissioning. You recalled that here was a desert but today, we are having a government house complex that is the best in the federation.
