Abakaliki: The South East Governors Forum and other Igbo leaders are to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari over the welfare of Ndi Igbo.
This was the outcome of the meeting held at Enugu on Monday by the forum with other Igbo leaders.
Briefing newsmen after the meeting, the Chairman of the South East Governors Forum, and governor of Ebonyi state,Engr.David Umahi,said,the welfare of the Igbos are very paramount,hence,their decision to see Mr President.
“We just finished our meeting, South East governors meeting with our leaders, and we decided that we are going to see Mr President for the welfare of our people”.
Those that attended the meeting included,Governor David Umahi,Ebonyi state and chairman, South East governors Forum; Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Enugu; Governor Okezie Ikpeazi,Abia state; Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Minority leader; Senator Jim Nwobodo; Chief Nnia Nwodo,president General, Ohaneze Ndigbo,and some religious leaders among others.
