The China General Chamber of Commerce held a three day trade exhibition that ran from Monday, April 15 to Wednesday April 17,2019.
The trade exhibition which held at the Abuja International Conference Centre (ICC), showed the strong economic relationship between Nigeria and China and presented opportunities for greater partnerships between both countries.
Featured at the exhibition were Chinese enterprises with branches in Nigeria such as the Ogun Guangdong Free Trade Zone, an arrangement that has been in place between Ogun State and the Guangdong Province for 10 years facilitating the production of items ranging from pharmaceutical products to writing materials in the country.
The China Kaisha Group also had a booth and the sales representative, Mr Tony talked about the business environment in Nigeria and the unique challenges that came with it such as: language barrier, the technological gap and the cost of skilled labour.
Other brands like Lifemate, StarTimes and others also made an appearance at the exhibition.
