The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu has told delegates at the ongoing Convention holding at the Eagle Square, that washing the Party’s dirty linen in public is not a mark of courage but that of irresponsibility.
Adamu also stated that the members have nothing to gain in portraying the Party in bad light, but have everything to lose by undermining the integrity of the APC.
“I found it necessary to make these observations in order to prepare our minds for the conduct of the primaries.
“It is no easy task, but a task that must be done and done successfully to the satisfaction of all concerned”, he said.
He further added that the success of the conduct of the convention will be a feather on the caps of all the leaders and members of the APC and an achievement shared by all of them.
He urged the delegates to make the right choice in choosing the candidate who will represent the party in the general election.
There are 21 aspirants jostling to win the Party’s Presidential ticket for 2023 in the ongoing Convention and so far, none of them have made any comment about stepping down.
