The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Bimfirst Multiventures limited, Alhaji Kamorudeen Omiwale, has disclosed, that the partnership between the federal government and the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), which led to the supply of 300 buses and Hundred Helix is a big boost.
This is just as he noted, that the partnership is based on public trust the company has earned over the years.
Omiwale, made the disclosure while speaking with journalists during the official commissioning of the buses and Helix by the Secretary to the government of the federation in Abuja.
The Bimfirst MD, stated that he had been in the business for almost two decades, hence the public trust the company has earned.
According to him, “We have been in this business for a long time. We have done business with some Governors in the East, National Assembly, we supplied the vehicles to the House of Representatives members, some reputable companies too.
“All these earned us the trust that led to this. Thank God for where we are, we will continue to do our best for the interest of our country Nigeria”, he said.
He further revealed, that only 300 vehicles have been supplied out of the 6,000 vehicles expected, adding that the vehicles will be coming in three hundreds every three months until it completes six thousand.
While commending the RTEAN for the initiative, Omiwale said the total sum of the vehicles is N124 billion, adding that the Federal government stands in as guarantor through the Bank of Industry.
Also, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation(SGF), Boss Mustapha who was represented by the Permanent Secretary in his office, Olusegun Kolawole, alongside the National President of RTEAN, Comrade Osakpamwan Eriyo, described the Bimfirst Multiventures as a trusted company hence the partnership.
They however, urged the MD/CEO Alhaji Kamorudeen Omiwale to keep the trust going as the sky remains their limit.
