Aisha Buhari Says President’s Health Not As Bad As Perceived, Nigerians React

Abuja-Wife of the President of Nigeria and First Lady, Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari has on Tuesday spoken up on the  present state of health of her husband,President Muhammadu Buhari.

 

Aisha Buhari who took to her twitter page @aishambuhari to address Nigerians, said that the President’s health is not as bad as is being perceived.

 

According to her  tweets, she said “I thank all Nigerians for their concern, love and prayers over my husband’s health status.

 

“I wish to inform every one that his health is not as bad as it’s being perceived, meanwhile he continues to carry out his responsibilities during this period.

 

“As it may come to your notice,he is meeting with Minister of justice and GMD of NNPC this evening. Long live Nigerians, Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria” she ended.

 

Nigerians on the other hand didn’t receive the message well as most of the tweets were lashing out at the President Buhari’s administration.

 

According to some tweets from Nigerians, @DemolaRewaju tweeted, “With @aishambuhari’s implicit confirmation that @MBuhari isn’t in good health(only not as bad as perceived), Nigerians should be worried”.

 

Also another twitter user @Icono73 pointed our a contradiction in the First lady’s tweet, he said “@aishambuhari but news from other end said @PMB met with them in the morning, how come yours says evening, who is the true PA?”

 

Another user @DrMiebijon tweeted “@aishambuhari, Auntie, but he met them five hours ago… You should know this a bluff I am sorry..Tomorrow is FEC, God bless Nigeria”.

 

Others also took turns to pray for Mr.President’s speedy recovery. A twitter user @C_lawan @aishambuhari we are happy to hear that and our prayers are with him. Can he address us directly and shut off all these speculations? Thanks.

 

Since his return from his medical trip in London, the President has been scarce and  away from the view of Nigerians, absent from Federal Executive Council Meetings and was not present at the just concluded 2017 Workers Day which sparked outrage in the workers.
